that don't look good
in the light of day
the razor-edged shards
that cut when handled
and the dull lackluster fragments
that can never be polished

This is so good....and a feeling many can relate to: why cant the object of our affection look past our broken pieces and return our unconditional love? Another wonderful read....I love your style S.A.
