Dark Thoughts

Loneliness
Echoing silence
Paranoia
Unrecognizable movements
Need movement
To worthless to move

Dark thoughts pounding through my head
Want the alleviated
Dark thoughts plagueing me
And never leaving

Need to keep control
Can't let the dark thoughts win
Digging fingers into flesh
Trying to distract the mental anguish

Dark thoughts
Evil thoughts
Thoughts that should be cast into the light
To disinigrate and blow away like a bad dream
But they are constantly there
Biding their time
Waiting for their host to weaken
Waiting to pounch upon it's unsuspecing prey

The thoughts strike unknowingly
Casting the prey into survival mode without them knowing it
They cut all ties with help
Only to discover that they need it

After ties are broken
The thoughts smother the prey with all the darkened feelings
Depression
Desperation
Anger
Loneliness
All of the feelings the prey tries to hide
All released at once

Dark thoughts poison the mind
And ravish the body
Never releasing
Merely staying dormant until an appropiate time

The dark thoughts
Shall never ease
