Altamont you dwell
Still under his spell
Waiting for his orders

A glimpse of heaven was shown

I looked the name up and Wikipedia gave a summary of his life as a convert to Islam and then his leadership in Ancient Persia. This is very interesting history. Another source said he was a brilliant political scientist and mathematician. This poem was very interesting because I had to look it up. As most of your readers may not be familiar - what I do...is often give a reference at the bottom of a poem....but that is only my opinion.
