You make me feel alive.
Like no one else in this
world. I've been dead for
So long that to feel my
heart beat fast from my
thoughts of you is like
a sense of closure.
Bliss. That this rotting
corpse gets a second chance
at whatever this is.

The feel of your smile
against my lips, the
warmth of your touch.
You've thawed out this
frozen corpse and made
her your own. It's a buzz
being close to you. To
just see your smile is
one of the 7 wonders of
my world.

You picked me up, dusted
me off and carried me away
from where I tripped and fell.
You fixed me when I didn't
want to be fixed, when I
wanted to wallow in my pain.
You made me better, like
fixing an old toy. Unused
and a wreck for so long.
You gave me a brain, a heart
and some courage to say "I want
to be with you"

You've given this old corpse
all her emotions back, taken
my heart out of that jar,
you've given back my dignity
and pride. Everything but an
answer; Is this love?
