Burns when going down
Our minds and hearts bled out
The lies love fed us..

Took two many sips
From love forbidden potions
We lost ourselves there...

Where bitterness lives.
Drinking regret for numbness
Thinking  one more sip...

Will erase love and
do away with the pain it
left lingering there...
