New world
She sits him down in his rocken chair
Rubs his hands and looking in his eyes
Telling him it's okay to cry
But he just sits and goes cold inside
The moon endless light outside
Only his cold distance inside
tears come to her eyes
she says, you know were true
You and I
were not Though, but it’s cold inside
While she sits and weeps
He see’s
Darkness and light in so much detail
He has given nothing of himself over
Refusing to believe what he knows to be real
He turns away
Starving himself of goodness
He doesn't think he should heal
But you and I
We can be alright
She ask of him, hold on to what we know is true and real
she begs
but he’s cold inside
She feels
"What if I've lost all I had?"
She feels he a stranger inside
Cold and dark
and the witness she is to his madness
He can't tell what is bad
He thinks’ come with me,
I'll show you a whole new world"
Rubs his hands and looking in his eyes
