Come live with me and liven my life
For we are such of the same in life,
Let us live near fields, near seas
Or beneath mountains or trees.
Come and be my mad muse
Sweep away my lonely blues,
You my muse, I your madman
Together live a lovely plan.
Showered in flowers, roses
That as nature imposes,
Sounds of every age
With music to engage.
We shall love and laugh,
On a Trickster's behalf,
Be as deities mad
And never be sad.
We shall unbalance the balance
Find solace in our own imbalance
And be very spontaneous
But always simultaneous.
Come wind or rain or snow
Or Sun and all that we know,
We shall be so happy together
Smiling whatever the weather.
Come live with me my love

Another poem inspired by "The Passionate Shepherd to his Love" by Christopher Marlowe. This time though instead of an imaginary altruistic leader, this is said by me.
This is about my perfect unrequited love, a being that I have yet to find, and will bring endless sun and meaning to my life. She is imaginary, yet could be real.

I do try to create lighter, not necessarily brighter, poems to be posted here without including too much scathing irony and satirising subtext as some other poets do.
Glad you liked it, it means I can build upon this building block in the future.
