Eternal Turmoil

When the voice stated in your head
"Don’t go listening bout what your heart said"
When your heart started dominating your mind
Broken dreams to a painful path you’ll find

To feel nothing;… thoughts tell you
Heart's screaming that’s not possible to do
You believe there’s a way, your mind  overruled
Emotional heart, so sad...you keep getting schooled

Nothing you do can bring to life your fairytale
Heart, you’re sentenced to eternity's life in jail
Flying high for a time you did soar
Stupid! mind told you...to close the door

Heart never learn, easy- open like twist top
Thoughts whispered… stop, stop ,stop
Now it’s a mess you already confessed
Cursed for your love,  heart's a total mess
Constant battle weak in the chest
Mind can’t be any better too thoughts, go rest
