here
here, as i watch the sunset
the stars falling in rippling waves
the clouds are gliding by in silence
an ever-changing painting in pink and blue
you, standing proud like a statue
smooth marble skin as you hold your head high
i, standing right beside you
looking so hard but i cannot see the lie
here in this infinite perfection
your amber eyes, my heart inflamed
the sweet song of your voice
my heart thrumming i can't hear what you're saying
smiling lips, making and breaking promises
swaying hips, lurid galvanizing exclamations
she turns her head just enough away
i wish to yell "Stop! Look at Me"
the stars falling in rippling waves
the clouds are gliding by in silence
an ever-changing painting in pink and blue
you, standing proud like a statue
smooth marble skin as you hold your head high
i, standing right beside you
looking so hard but i cannot see the lie
here in this infinite perfection
your amber eyes, my heart inflamed
the sweet song of your voice
my heart thrumming i can't hear what you're saying
smiling lips, making and breaking promises
swaying hips, lurid galvanizing exclamations
she turns her head just enough away
i wish to yell "Stop! Look at Me"
