Crepescule d' Pulchritude (almost Ode To Bliss)
ah...a wordery meant for
togethering(words,
obviously not wit any[of]me),
a
lone ashore gazing seaward t'see
what's there or
not [ there ]
lighting always a little different,
jewels afoot always rearranged--fasc
inatin little portraits[of]gone'way lifes
lived somewhere unimaginable
"are
you not h'appy? be ye deepress'ed?" --
a senselessy s[h]'elfish silly question that
no rightminded crustacean
would bother to think
in such a place of any time ---prehistory
confirms every such humandistortion everwas eversince/
Paradise every evening, coloured, bejeweled, utteringly
imperfect lingualogic awry[&in}inconceivable 'order'
be happy be sad be neither be both be selfcontradictory
be mad be sane be naked or not/be somewhere anywhere nowhere
now,just as it mighta been back-when,or forthwith from
thee first wit onward.....it don't matter whether ye falls forward or backward when death comes creeping[or slams ye outright],gravity all ways puts us down(ward), & wee beg beg

Since ancient days sages and poets have reminded us that what is truly of beauty and of worth costs nothing but the time to stop, step back and perceive it. But we are all too busy "spending and getting"- trying to emulate poor Richard Cory and "glitter when we walk" - thanks for the reminder - "Blessings on thee, poet Dan. barefoot boy with cheek of tan."

Yes, paradise every evening. I can buy into that. "Slobby beauty" is also one of the finer I believe that you've ever wordcoined. A jewel of a poom to read in the repose of evenin.
