Longing
I wept to the sound of lightning in the darkest of nights
Alone in my misery I have nobody by my side
The moon shrouded my vacancy as I wondered the sights
Back and Forth I ponder my plight
Thoughts racing in my mind as I wonder how it died
How we gave it all away never again to return
That feeling will exist no more that heart so full of radiance
Flickered once and gave away all its light
Oh how I dream of your face and to retain it's splendor
How I die inside every day knowing true love ignored
I knew the day would come you wouldn't succumb
Now I roam this existence in a pitiful vain
I have died inside and become another soul stained.

This is actually quite a marvelous piece you have written. I can feel the emotions that you have laid out in longing words with such deep passionate sorrow and longing.
But you have no real title! May I suggest you simply call it "Longing?"
