Stalking The Stalker

After me he comes
Posing like a friend
In his mind what burns
Is a dangerous intent

Moving lightly
Weightless and noiseless
Never fooled by disguising
So the tact is useless

Never believe them to the fullest
In smile or in frown
From the most suspicious to the coolest
Never let your guard down

Jewels handed to a child
Silly,playful and wild
At first the words daddy spoke
All sounded like a joke

Until I've heard and seen
The evil in the hearts of men
Since then I've never been
Unprepared for them

Now I'm being watched closely
I can feel the eyes on me
I twist and turn purposely
And disappear from the scene

Now the advantage has shifted
And so is the fear
He knows I'm watching him
But can't tell from exactly where

It's like all of a sudden
He remembers he too is mortal
And nothing feels so sweet
Than stalking the stalker
