As sunrise chased clouds away
Bringing forth brighter days
And nights twinkling starry rays
Suspicion
Supplanted by Trust
Strife
Gone way of Harmony
Tears
Fill clouds of Joy
Relief
Restitute of Grief
Cheerfulness
Chuckles away old Misery
Depression
Driven to Recession
Frown
Flipped upside down to Glimmering Grin
Bluebirds’ Bebop ballads
Make faint sounds of yesterdays
Crow caws irksome Squawks
As sun sets on the New Day
In the New life of a New Me.
