BLEEDING SWEETNESS

Your words drag a dull blade
across my existence.
Do you know who I am?
I'm cowering to the serenade,
of your addictions.
Crushing stars in my hand.
All of that innocence lost,
all of the memories,
you try so hard to forget.
The drugs, and the spirits that haunt,
they weigh so heavy,
when the dawn brings them all back again.

We are waiting for it all to burn.
Separated by many miles.
Though I can taste all your tears in the rain,
and I'm there with you, getting high.

Every drop of your bleeding sweetness.
Every consequence,
seems more vivid at 5am.
If I could drown all of your bitter secrets,
through my benevolence,
feel you smile sincere once again.

We are waiting for the same kind of flame.
As the dust now falls from my hands.
Every moment that withers away

Brittanie...Can you hear me?
