My greatest enemy,
Always there and forcing me to see
The man I once was,
The man I can no longer be.
Crippled to my knees
Memories won’t set me free
My traitorous mind
Always reaching for the things no longer mine
Making me see lost time
Clouding my dark future with the bright haze of the past
Leave me alone
