Santa wears a gastric band

In the very cold north pole, there lives a jolly man.
Working hard for christmas time, he does the best he can.
Then one fateful winters night, Mrs Claus she did exclaim.
There's no seams left in this suit, I can't let it out again

Now jogging along cold icebergs, isn't so much fun.
And leaving out your favourite meals, just should not be done.
So he goes to see old Dr elf, To complain and to moan.
If I've got to do this thing, I'm not doing it alone.

Christmas eve came along, the fitting soon began.
Mrs Claus took Santa's suit, and had to take it in.
Loosing all that extra weight, he was a fitter man.
Delivered gifts so quick that year, he was home before he began.

When september came along, Mrs Claus she did appear.
She presented old Santa Claus, with a brand new son and heir.
Not forgetting old Rudolph, he was fitter too
So Mrs Rudolph came along, and presented him with two.
