INTO THE WARMIN  NAPPIN-GLOW      

         
 my cat    
raven
awaits so patiently    
in zen like stillness    
for mid day sun    
each day    
to slowly    
inch by inch    
creep its way    
in through    
a corner    
window pane    
where once    
it comes    
upon him    
he quickly    
melts away    
sinking off    
serenely    
into the warmin    
nappin glow    
of platinum    
winter suns    
penetrative rays    
as i too    
would    
beside him    
there    
if only    
the narrow    
window sill    
he
str r e e e t t t c h e s    
out upon    
were just    
a few feet    
wider    
and longer    
than it is    
oh how
the quandarys    
of only being    
human    
often leave me    
longing    
at times like  
these    
for so much  
less  
of all i am  
for so much  
more  
of all im
