Mom
Tears roll down
My face
Her love I just want to embrace
But instead
All I get is nagged in return
Don't do this
Don't do that
Be this
Be that
Sit up straight
No he's not good enough for you to date
Keeping record of all my mistakes
I wish I could go to the moon
And bring you a piece back
But I assume
When I returned
It wouldn't even be good enough for you
Yea daughter I love you
But I sit with tears in my eyes mom
From you trying to control
My life
And even when
I try
Your unhappiness with me
Still Remains
My face
Her love I just want to embrace
But instead
All I get is nagged in return
Don't do this
Don't do that
Be this
Be that
Sit up straight
No he's not good enough for you to date
Keeping record of all my mistakes
I wish I could go to the moon
And bring you a piece back
But I assume
When I returned
It wouldn't even be good enough for you
Yea daughter I love you
But I sit with tears in my eyes mom
From you trying to control
My life
And even when
I try
Your unhappiness with me
Still Remains
