Oh, it's like that.
You took what was left of this love, thru it all away-
When you let that other guy inside you, to have his way-
You took what was left of this love, slapped it in the face-
Now all of our friends who once knew us, say disgrace-
Didn't you know, (yes, you knew), when he penetrated you, he took my place-
You fucked every guy in this small town, till my memory faded away-
I knew that it was a wrecked train, long ago derailed from the track-
But once you made that choice, there was no turning back-
And I know that I fucked that other woman in our bed, to lick my wounds-
But in retrospect, what the fuck did it prove-
Love once lost, can never be retrieved-
And even if we tried to reconcile-
We'd still throw it up, in each others face-
Cause the purity in our hearts for each other, has been displaced-
Now love lies bleeding, in our hands-
And there's really no way, to make amends-
So maybe it's best this way, and after a while, we can become friends-
