What are we
I was asked, What is beautiful to me... So let me begin very simply, I will eliminate the basics, I adore everybody from all different places, Imagine a world with all the same faces, Separated by colours, Money and hatred, They are telling me, To speak about what I see, Through my eyes I couldn't be more unhappy, So ill come forward with my knowledge gladly, What is beautiful to me? Well lets see, The buzz of the bees and the wind between the trees, Make it easy to breath when I feel anxiety, When I feel alone, Thinking where did everybody else go? The sound of that calm silence soothes my aching soul, What's beautiful? How about her smooth lips, those curvaceous hips...Those eyes that pull me in every time, Is that beautiful? Well I can't complain, But without a beautiful heart, It makes no difference... They are all the same, Why do we judge one another? I'm not innocent, And I'm not begging for forgiveness, But I can't pretend I didn't see things, God knows I witnessed, Man... I make a promise... Stupid me, I know ill break it again, But I will try, and try again, I'm not sure if things will ever be right, But it's my job to be more polite, Making a difference starts within, Ill do my best never to judge again, Dang... What is beautiful? I'm not sure I know, I'm not a parent... So I couldn't tell you how it feels to see a child grow, I'm only 21 years old, Next time they ask me... What is beautiful? I think I have the answer... Each and every single one of us... Is beautiful.
