My Sky Tonight.
These bones,
They ache with the shakiness of dying warmth.
My eyes watch the night sky,
As my heartbeat shortens.
Twinkling tears trail,
With the unforgettable memories on repeat.
The wish to continue unsure.
Shadiness of black and white,
Battling their forces,
Both shaking a different flag.
Once bright green orbs,
Dull with hidden pain,
Tortured,
Suffering.
Yet they rake the glowing sky,
A small gleam of happiness.
The last view,
My midnight stars.
They ache with the shakiness of dying warmth.
My eyes watch the night sky,
As my heartbeat shortens.
Twinkling tears trail,
With the unforgettable memories on repeat.
The wish to continue unsure.
Shadiness of black and white,
Battling their forces,
Both shaking a different flag.
Once bright green orbs,
Dull with hidden pain,
Tortured,
Suffering.
Yet they rake the glowing sky,
A small gleam of happiness.
The last view,
My midnight stars.
