She

A disaster,
he asked her,
to negotiate.
A silent pause before the answer,
then, she started to say:

"I don't own you.
If you found me in an incident of change,
it doesn't matter-
because what's after
will always be the same.

If you blink,  I'm always gone.
Your questions go unheard.
You may feel that this is wrong,
but I stand by every word.

I will be that someone-
you'll never know about."
Its nothing more than here and now,
surrounded by your endless doubt.

Clear your mind of the war you wage.
Give yourself some open space.
Understand where I am home -
is permanently without you."
