My heart is free
Under your foot you trampled
A heart that never set
Conspired to greater things
That I will never regret
Beating fast and hungry
Whispering to the north
Aching arms with blood poured
But my heart beats me forth
Beaten bruised and tortured
Tired of restless games
Challenging you to battle
To put ending to your reign
Free from bonds my heart sings
Still bruised and shattered soul
But beats with hopes of freedom
To be forever In control
A heart that never set

DARK POEM

Dark city
Cursed into darkness it rose
A city that never sleeps
It stands taller than all it's foes
In the deepest admits of deceit
The twilight swirling angry
Blocking gods from sight
Thunder and lighting roaring
Sustaining the city's might
Industrial surrounding walls
A prison built by our hands
To keep us from getting cold
Yet homeless and hungry still lands
A plague of selfish decisions
That will burn the city down
If the gods could see
They would surely frown
For the darkness is the devil
His prison to cause...
A city that never sleeps

Man on a ledge
Come back to the light
It will guide your heart
It may feel heavy now
Time will see it part
Come out of the shadows
That takes hold of your air
Don't fall to its deceit
I know your still there
Come down from the ledge
On which you stand small
Rejoin on sacred ground
And rise strong and tall
The world is better with you
I know it is cruel
you can live a stronger life
Find glorious ways to fall
It will guide your heart

Sword raised in arm
Sulked in blood of foes
Skill unmatched in battle
To strike the final blows
No shield needed wielding
For the gods have blessed your soul
You fight for honour and freedom
To get back what they stole
You heart weighs heavy lingering
To touch the one they killed
In cold blood they will pay
With the training you are filled
For you are the saviour
The bringer of rain
You cast shadows on the evil
cause them suffering and pain
Like they bestowed upon you
You will have revenge
Freeing all...

The dark room lit by candle
Casts all thoughts away
Forever in you arms
I know ill be ok
Because I listen to your voice
Singing to your song
Cracking up that smile
Nothing can go wrong
Your cheeky little grin
The way you make me strong
Ill lift you to the sky
And dance all day long
Memories will be left
Legends shall be born
Our unconditional love
Will never be torn! ever!

In my final hour
I will hold your hand
Whisper something stupid
But you will understand
I won't go until I've said goodbye
And dried up your tears
Tasted your lips once more
And thought of all our years
Because I have lived a lifetime
It's time for me to go
You must live on a while longer
Before you can follow
But don't be sad my darling

Insomniac
Explosions in your ears
Light that weighs your eyes
Heavy and on fire
You can't even cry
Forever twist and turning
On pillows worn and dry
Bleeding through your thoughts
Of a sleepy kind of night
Shaking like your hungry
Walking like the dead
Trying to find a way
To beat this living dread
Pills that make you numb
Never work your sleep
They only keep you thinking
Of something sad and deep

Eyes blacker than night skies
Skin free from the cold shave

I was once true to the world
Someone wise, tall and strong
With visions of the future
That would last while I am gone
See I knew this wasn't it

Becoming a god
The world above that covers me
Binds and keeps me strong
I thank you gods wherever you may be
So wise and never wrong
For I have sinned a thousand times
Forgiven by your might
I may not understand your actions
But I know that it is right
As we must learn a lesson here
To make the next world great
Maybe that's how gods are born
Out of our mistakes
So I will live until I've learnt
The knowledge to be pure
Full of love and experience
To open up your door
