Drowning Blues

Dirty water out at Maumee Bay,

swallow me whole,

wash all my blues away.


Let me sink down into

your dark abyss,

swallow my blues up.

Let me fade away in bliss.


I grow so heavy,

cranky, and weary.

Let my sorrows

be buried at the bottom

of Lake Erie.
