Breaking The Mask
I've fallen..
I cannot stand up, or stand this you see.
I'm broken inside.
Yes!
Me! Me! Me!
Emily!
I stumbled on the rocks.
Now my mask is shattered and lost.
My hypothesis is mute.
My thesis is truth.
Here I am dancing in the rain.
Each drop's heat,
Each drop's velocity begin to stain my cheeks.
My foot work is sugar coating,
My mind is erasing.. bending.
Yes.
This is me,
Emily.
Shattered and broken.
Hyper active yet numb to touch.
I've fallen again..
Can you hear my screams to help me get up?
I cannot stand up, or stand this you see.
I'm broken inside.
Yes!
Me! Me! Me!
Emily!
I stumbled on the rocks.
Now my mask is shattered and lost.
My hypothesis is mute.
My thesis is truth.
Here I am dancing in the rain.
Each drop's heat,
Each drop's velocity begin to stain my cheeks.
My foot work is sugar coating,
My mind is erasing.. bending.
Yes.
This is me,
Emily.
Shattered and broken.
Hyper active yet numb to touch.
I've fallen again..
Can you hear my screams to help me get up?
