Shores of life
Is this truly life?
Trapped upon the shores of strife
Shattered shards of children's dreams
Flow down cold, crimson streams
Bleached bones and rusted iron
Rotted flesh of those who kept trying
Broken wood from a thousand ships
All shine under a black eclipse
Where the forgotten heroes are left to rot
Where the innocent lay stung up and shot
Where mountains of stolen riches rust
Luring lost souls who have given into lust
Where life meets no end
Here the wills of man bend
And shatter upon the ancient sands
To become lost within the endless badlands
Castles of stones
And fallen thrones
Broken hearts and shattered minds
Broken bones in rusted binds
Here we stumble through the dark
Following the faint distant spark
Though millions of souls have gone astray
We will follow our spark until the day
This is truly life
Trapped upon the shores of strife
Shattered shards of children's dreams
Flow down cold, crimson streams
Trapped upon the shores of strife
Shattered shards of children's dreams
Flow down cold, crimson streams
Bleached bones and rusted iron
Rotted flesh of those who kept trying
Broken wood from a thousand ships
All shine under a black eclipse
Where the forgotten heroes are left to rot
Where the innocent lay stung up and shot
Where mountains of stolen riches rust
Luring lost souls who have given into lust
Where life meets no end
Here the wills of man bend
And shatter upon the ancient sands
To become lost within the endless badlands
Castles of stones
And fallen thrones
Broken hearts and shattered minds
Broken bones in rusted binds
Here we stumble through the dark
Following the faint distant spark
Though millions of souls have gone astray
We will follow our spark until the day
This is truly life
Trapped upon the shores of strife
Shattered shards of children's dreams
Flow down cold, crimson streams
