advice for writers

I've learned to be objective with my writing
I read and reread to know what is good and what is shit
be honest with yourself
it takes some ego-death and patience
dont think all your words are golden
you can't write a masterpiece every time
know the difference between a paper thats written with gold leaf
and one that's not worth the pile of shit that's laying on top of it
