Transmission

Her submission
to him
not his will
but to his offering,
this became the locus
of her being.

His act of faithfulness
to bring into being,
her sensorium,
an intuition
needed and adored,
this became the pinxit
of her developed
understanding.

Neither
and yet both,
Sir and Little,
Daddy
and His Snail,
His Katapillar,
her shell
the cocoon of her
unfolding,
his embrace
the butterfly
of their inner
awareness,
closer
than a breath
on mirror graced,
the living
and the lived.
