Can You Smell The Absence?
Does anybody notice the silence in the air?
The haunting absence getting bigger everyday.
Becoming a plague of "nothing".
While the trees echo with life, and laughter.
Cells mutate, and divide, and grow.
Every forest that gets slaughtered for development leave ear splitting screams, as they fall to the ground.
It leaves an absence in the air,
And a looming figure of death shaking his head in disappointment.
All this concrete, and glass take the place of wildlife, and air.
You're spreading a stench of death,
As strong as carbon dioxide.
It gets harder to breathe,
The more you feed.
And we're all getting shorter of breath.
If we don't take a stand,
You're making all of us fall to our death.
The haunting absence getting bigger everyday.
Becoming a plague of "nothing".
While the trees echo with life, and laughter.
Cells mutate, and divide, and grow.
Every forest that gets slaughtered for development leave ear splitting screams, as they fall to the ground.
