Darkest night
Darkest of night what have you done?
Brought upon me a sadness and fear,
Once I had held you oh so dear,
then you betrayed me and left me in tears,
You came back to pick me up, held me close and wiped away my tears, ask for forgiveness and I do give,
But at what cost? My life? My fear.
Fear does grow,
Trust subsides,
Replaced with falseness I dare not show. I loved you so but now I know,
You are dark,
A lonesome soul...
Brought upon me a sadness and fear,
Once I had held you oh so dear,
then you betrayed me and left me in tears,
You came back to pick me up, held me close and wiped away my tears, ask for forgiveness and I do give,
But at what cost? My life? My fear.
Fear does grow,
Trust subsides,
Replaced with falseness I dare not show. I loved you so but now I know,
You are dark,
A lonesome soul...
