The Piano
If I could play the piano
I’d play a tune for you
I would write a song
And sing it for you too
I’d sing with all my soul
From the depth of my heart
Telling you how much
I miss you when we part
I’d sing of my love
The hope and the joy
Everything I feel
For my blue eyed boy
The piano I can’t play
Nor sing like a lark
So I write you this poem
From the depth of my heart
I’d play a tune for you
I would write a song
And sing it for you too
I’d sing with all my soul
From the depth of my heart
Telling you how much
I miss you when we part
I’d sing of my love
The hope and the joy
Everything I feel
For my blue eyed boy
The piano I can’t play
Nor sing like a lark
So I write you this poem
From the depth of my heart
