ASKING EDGAR...

Scratches below the floorboards.
Fingernails peel back.
Never growing tired.
Drifting between the cracks.

Whimpers,whispers,desperate,or are they angry cries?

Beneath,my feet,underneath,I know something hides.

Someone help me escape.
Locked from the inside.
Painted black windowpanes.
Mirrors covered white.

Crawling,clawing,unseen,follows pacing back and forth.

Beneath,my feet,underneath,something I cannot ignore.

So what do you say Edgar???
Shall we both start pulling up this floor?
