'Spit Personality'

 

Sometimes,  I like  to paint
'roses, and butterflies' with a word
then... at times the funny in me
pens things outright silly, absurd
yet, whatever dwells within
the inkwell of my pen...

it’s a by-product of my duality
and it's merely a formality
to label it as simple creativity,
but it's more aptly stated,  
that I’ve got a ‘Spit Personality...'

Consistently,  I try to represent
my art in more 'flavorable' ways
getting jacked up on the joy
I get when I hear them say,
"what did he just say? "
yet I always knew there’d come a day
when thinking free
as I throw away
the 'chains of normalcy'
that confined me, folks would see
I stepped outta line with a unique way to define me,
and finally...

I strip my mind of pre established things that gather
intricacies I've soaked  up real good in creativities lather
then with a deep inhale , I exhale as the ink splatters
distinctively the ink you see attaches to solid matter...

Then, bit by bit it becomes clear
I've built words into lines that hit
as it truly defys an analytic analysis
of how  this 'Urbane  Son  spit...'


Though there may be many
that might fumble and grumble,
oh hell, "his words are just mumble jumble"
in a vast 'word sea'
but that's probably
because perhaps they  just can't process
the potential and  progressive state
of my, 'spit personality...'
