abacus my ignition

i never thought id be this pathetic
i never knew this feeling before
i never counted on my hearts rhythmic
existence
i never thought id be such a fool
a fool for you.

and as the sun rises, as the flowers bloom
my mind despises its awaited doom,
for each second pass, thoughts conclude
time is you.

Butterflies flutter wings of gold
i watch them sway into each other's gentle hold
they are like little fairies struck by cupids bow
oh!how the glow of their amorous flight ignite
their laughter above the hibiscus
and i stand astray reminiscing, and count my days on my brass abacus.

As the sand creeps, the hour glass seeps
into my realisation, time is you.

another unit on my abacus to the right,
I love you, so lets ignite.
