I came across a man, he had a crooked smile,
He said follow me i will shelter you,
Shelter you from pain, grief, hardships, and lies,
From realities that have you broken inside,
Just relinquish your soul and give it to me,
I promise forever, but not eternity,
So i took this man's hand and followed him down,
To a world so faint,
A world so carefree,
I just had to take this tar substance and induce it in me,
He was right i loved this world it was all i expected,
The pain, grief, hardships, and lies was just a whisper now,
My world wasn't broken i felt so patient and sublime,


Wait this ain't right i have overlooked,
this isn't what i wanted i was deceived,
you took all the good and took it from me,
where is my friends,
