The last cut
Her eyes slowly fill with sorrowful tears
She feels worthless, empty and like nobody cares
The demon in her mind is the only thing she fears
It scares her so much that nothing else compares
She runs to her drawer and pulls out her blade
It slices through her skin as violent as the pain displayed
The blood starts to flow and the hurt starts to fade
The things she does to herself makes her so afraid
She needs to escape so she slits the pale green vein
She falls to the ground an the blood starts to drain
Her love runs to her to find her wrist redly stained
He holds her tight now realising her constant pain
Every tear burns as they crawl out of his eyes
His head is a violent battlefield as red as the skies
He would do anything to save her, even die as a compromise
He wonders what words he would of used to say his last goodbye.
