Shelf life

Now, something like this piece would maybe go well among a number of other pieces compiled into a chapbook or something.  It stands well enough on its own, but poses questions--and I don't even know what questions.  Is that good?  Is that bad?  I'd have to say that this is one of those instances in which the phrase "It's relative" really does apply.  I've done a number of pieces that were pretty crazy, and I've done a number of pieces that were really really really short.  My shortest ones I haven't posted here.  I put them into a couple e-chaps I self-published a while back.  The crazy ones I'm not all that sure about publishing, though I may yet someday.  So, I kind of feel something for this piece, and pieces like it.  Though I'm not sure if I'd say I particularly like this piece.

I like the bluntness of this poem. I will give you that. It is truthful too.
