When I was daddy's little girl
you were my hero then
and every time I see you now
I remember that again

A fathers love is special
and I knew it from the start
dear daddy your the first man
who I loved with all my heart

I think back on the things we've done
and the places that we'd go
like going to the races
or out to a wrestling show

No one can pick their parents
we all know that this is true
but if I got to choose, for sure
I would have chosen you

So daddy please remember
each and every single day
