Darkness under the Rainbow
Darkness under the Rainbow
I Hated his rainbow
He said it set him free
Gave him strength he said
"It just let's me be me"
"Red is life
Like the blood in my vein"
Stop talking like that
His silhouette mirrored my shame
Orange brought healing
Yellow stolen sunlight
What's your count today?
"350, I'm alright"
The nature of Green
Drew us to bike in Central Park
Time slipped away from us
And the shadows began to hark
In a sea of Blue
He bathed in harmony
Only his dark reflection
Sang of his agony
Lilac and Violets whispered
of my Michael's spirit
Embracing all he touched
His only real sin in life
He loved everyone too much
I Hated his rainbow
He said it set him free
Gave him strength he said
"It just let's me be me"
"Red is life
Like the blood in my vein"
Stop talking like that
His silhouette mirrored my shame
Orange brought healing
Yellow stolen sunlight
What's your count today?
"350, I'm alright"
The nature of Green
Drew us to bike in Central Park
Time slipped away from us
And the shadows began to hark
In a sea of Blue
He bathed in harmony
Only his dark reflection
Sang of his agony
Lilac and Violets whispered
of my Michael's spirit
Embracing all he touched
His only real sin in life
He loved everyone too much
