Foot Of My Bed
When I go to sleep
I place my rib cage under my bed
My bones are heavy yet weightless
This is not the place to be
Burdened with a sorrow that devours me
It wont be long and my heart will follow
Pumping at the foot of my bed
As I lay still and hear the beat
I can feel the hesitation
I can taste the defeat
I place my rib cage under my bed
My bones are heavy yet weightless
This is not the place to be
Burdened with a sorrow that devours me
It wont be long and my heart will follow
Pumping at the foot of my bed
As I lay still and hear the beat
I can feel the hesitation
I can taste the defeat
