Weekend On Venus

I'm waking up to the stratosphere,
the stars are in my eyes.
It seems strange to think that you're not here,
you sleep tonight under bluer skies.

I'm floating freely through the dark,
and the stars are at my 'tips.
I'm not capable of being so stark,
but I'd give anything to kiss your lips.

I'll bring you back the moon next week,
and place it in your hands.
I'll bring you back a black hole,
bring you deeds to Venusian lands.

Giving you the world is not enough,
when I could give you it all.
And it won't just be a bunch of stuff,
I've got too much pride to take a fall.

A million thoughts drift through my head,
and each of them is you.
Roadtripping, waking up dead,
I'm in lesbians with you, this much is true.
