Perfect Night

Spring evenings with only the two of us.
A blanket and basket while the fireflies fluoresce.
Sipping wine as the sun gently falls.
The night creatures begin their beautiful calls.
The cool night air freshens the mind,
and softly causes us to unwind.
Your beauty is radiant as the stars become clear.
The coolness causes you to come near.
In my arms, you look to the skies,
but I prefer the stars in your eyes.
I could hold you forever,
in this perfect night.
For loving you is the only thing I do right.
