Nocturnal Rhapsody
She woke up in the midnight blues
And then went to the roof upstairs.
To look at the endless realms
of the stars shining above.
She gasped at the chastity of the night
When all the world is asleep,
Glancing at the mystic lake,
Where the angels without wings lived.
Chills of shiver rained down her spine
As she heard the fading music
of the bird that never sleeps.
The soothing breeze calmed her heart,
Freeing her from all anxieties and pains.
She could see the forests of unknown woods
as she smelt the breeze.
The moonlight is swimming in the river that flows
down the Palatine hills.
Living through this mysterious notes of life,
She felt she was drinking the nectar from
the forbidden fruit.
And then went to the roof upstairs.
To look at the endless realms
of the stars shining above.
She gasped at the chastity of the night
When all the world is asleep,
Glancing at the mystic lake,
Where the angels without wings lived.
Chills of shiver rained down her spine
As she heard the fading music
of the bird that never sleeps.
The soothing breeze calmed her heart,
Freeing her from all anxieties and pains.
She could see the forests of unknown woods
as she smelt the breeze.
The moonlight is swimming in the river that flows
down the Palatine hills.
Living through this mysterious notes of life,
She felt she was drinking the nectar from
the forbidden fruit.
