Questions

Why don't birds sing when it rains?
I'm sure there song would ease there pain.
The cloudy days when I'm reminded of you.
Those grey days when I'm filled with gloom.
Why does the moon only shine at night?
Is it afraid of the sun's proud gleam?
Or does it prefer the silent time when every child is asleep?
Why do I cry when I think of you?
Why is sadness associated with the color blue?
All these questions I ask myself as I wipe away my tears.
Why do I grow older with each passing years?
Sometimes I even wonder what I'm doing here.
