I've read somewhere that a male lyrebird is capable of replicating and mimicking a near infinite amount of sounds and bird songs.
That if you play a thirty minute cd of the same sound to a lyrebird, by the time it finishes, the bird has already learnt and memorised the noise so it can incorporate it for the song that will hopefully one day attract and please a female. Then, spending time with the female lyrebird cements the exact call of her in the male lyrebirds brain and will use it to attract another.

Im no lyrebird but I remember the sound of your footsteps;
how the weight barely hit the floor of a two story house
when you started running through it completely wasted
and that tesp sound you make when your about to start
telling me something that I'm probably not going to like.
In all of this,
I figured out the keys to your spine,
the brokeness of your shoulders,
forever etched into my brain
the sound of your breathing
just to find out that
i'm learning it for another
girls song.
