Dazed Soliloquy
honestly, I don't know what this is about. I wrote it while half-asleep...
softly now, glide down
into the tumultuous silence
lower your crown
to this brutal kindness
sing to the card
the ace of spades
catch on the scarred
fall in cascades
parachute into
this dilapidated maze
bloody and blue
in the organized craze
Hear the sights
and touch the noises
taste your frights
and see the voices
scream out
in self destruction
of the innate thought
of your salvation
we'll be hiding
in plain sight
as the colliding
takes its height
walk, run
dance with the trees
one-by-one
as we crash the breeze
gently now, slide in
to the bright iniquity
of our world's sin
and our soliloquy
softly now, glide down
into the tumultuous silence
lower your crown
to this brutal kindness
sing to the card
the ace of spades
catch on the scarred
fall in cascades
parachute into
this dilapidated maze
bloody and blue
in the organized craze
Hear the sights
and touch the noises
taste your frights
and see the voices
scream out
in self destruction
of the innate thought
of your salvation
we'll be hiding
in plain sight
as the colliding
takes its height
walk, run
dance with the trees
one-by-one
as we crash the breeze
gently now, slide in
to the bright iniquity
of our world's sin
and our soliloquy
