A Cloud
One day a cloud, floating softly on the breath of the wind, looked down upon the earth and saw a landscape lain waste by the greed of man. He witnessed all manner of creature, wandering homeless, overrun by mans unhindered growth. The cloud felt much sorrow and tears welled in his soul until he overflowed with sadness and desperation. His tears fell upon the earth and with them came hope of re-growth and new life, yet man stole the clouds tears and made them servants of his greed. Then, in time, the land below became dry and barren and all the creatures of the world disappeared - and man too vanished.
