The Cave
One man walked into a dark forest to tell a tale,
With him walks a group he tells he will take to hell,
They followed him through the dark of the trees,
The dim lamp in front was all they could see,
They past the trees and sat in front of the big cave,
The man hushed the group and started to speak,
Once not long ago there was a man,
Driven by curiosity he stuck out his hand,
Into the darkness of the cave,
To his demise he was pulled in by a beast,
His fright drove him to commit suicide on this tree,
This is where he stays for eternity,
Out of the cave came a creature on all fours,
His guts falling out,
He pleaded for help as out came,
A yelp from one of the women,
A hand came from the darkness of the cave,
The creature screamed as it's strength gave way,
The man started to run,
The story was no longer fun,
Screams filled the quiet night sky,
He would rather die,
Than get eaten alive,
To his demise he had a pocket knife,
A slice of the neck,
An ended life,
The man finished telling the story,
The group stood in fright,
Hoping the story was not real life,
Hoping the beast would not come alive,
They stood there,
Not moving a hair,
Staring at the darkness of the cave,
The wind blew through the night,
Silence filled the air,
Fin.
