I stare into your eyes
I feel so torn
I hold onto your every word
I'm waiting for a sign
Waiting on your love

You stare into my eyes
Your feelings so unsure
Watching what you say
Pulling me close,
Yet staying away

Afraid to love
Don't want to get hurt
Ive been down this path
Willing to take a chance
I just want a new beginning

But a different ending

This one is about two of my friends. Its written from the girls point of view.

She likes him a lot. but they have both been hurt by love, a lot. He is having trouble letting her in. Every time he lets some one in he gets hurt. Every time he gets hurt, it makes it harder to let some one in again.

Shes willing to take a chance on love. It hasn't turned out good for her thus far, but she wants to open up. She wants to be loved fully and not just used.
