Memories of The Rock

Memories of the Rock

My eyes beam as rays of light gleam
Dance almost as if glorifying this rock in my hand
I smile from the memories that have become firsthand
Knowledge I posses as it helps me through this depressed state I'm in
The power of this substance is so great
That for a few hours I am straight
Left in a nirvanic bliss
This high I miss
It supersedes all family, friends and material possessions
As I sink lower and lower into this depression
I fein for this hit
It helps me to escape I can't call it quits
It teases and taunts me and pulls me back so I stick
Another spoon over the fire
Licking dry lips but I can already taste me getting higher
This is my reality
Prisoner to this white rock I'm not free
But once it's in my veins my mind flees
And with this feeling my mind, body and soul doesn't disagree
